Using ImageGallery in an application with Power BI Embedded, in Power BI Report Server, or in a national cloud?<\/strong> In those environments Microsoft does not offer the AppSource licensing system, so the regular store purchase does not work. For these cases we provide a direct licensing channel. This page explains how it works.<\/p>\n Licenses purchased on Microsoft AppSource are validated against the Microsoft 365 account of the user viewing the report. In Power BI Embedded the end users of your application do not sign in with accounts from your tenant, and Report Server has no connection to the licensing service \u2014 so the standard validation is impossible. This is a platform limitation that affects every commercial visual, not just ours.<\/p>\n In these environments, ImageGallery runs in full free mode<\/strong> (with its display and export limits). To unlock the Pro features you use a signed license key<\/strong> that we issue directly.<\/p>\n The license for embedded environments is billed per capacity<\/strong> (not per end user), through direct annual invoicing. The final price depends on the number of capacities and the environment. Request a quote<\/a> stating how many capacities or servers you need to cover.<\/p>\n If your organization has strict data requirements, the cloud export service (PPT templates, image proxy) can be deployed on your own infrastructure<\/strong> \u2014 your Cloudflare account, Azure, or your own Node server \u2014 so that no image or template ever passes through invenia’s servers. This is an Enterprise license with assisted deployment and full documentation. \nNo. The key only contains your organization identifier, the plan and the expiry date, all signed. The visual sends nothing to the internet to validate it.<\/p>\n
\nThe visual falls back to free mode: it keeps working and displaying the gallery, with the free version’s limits. No report ever breaks.<\/p>\n
